Dub FX is a street performer (Beatboxer) and a recording artist from Melbourne, Australia. A complete independent artist he makes his music from his voice and using his Roland loop and effects pedals. I must say his style is original and one of a kind. Watch out for this guy he might be coming to Asia soon so get ready...
Once again we are blessed with another dope free music for all of you music and dub lovers out there. A remix of Dub Reggae and Lyrics by The Mighty Mos Def this album is a must have tunes and was produced by Max Tannone formally known as Minty Fresh Beats (changed due to legal issues) his a New York based producer and getting a good name for himself also if you bump in his Jaydiohead mush up remixes (Jay-Z x Radiohead) try and get it too its worth it.
I got hooked up with Dread Foxx by a friend listen to his stuff and its really dope!!! Mr. Foxx is based in Port Arthur, Texas a DJ and Producer that has 11 years experience in his hand. Dread Foxx is a big remixer and them tunes are dope you gotta have em. On his sound cloud account he has some bootleg remixes that all you freebies out there can download for free. But personally I love this track he made with a classic sample DnB and Rap "Dready or Not" rework. DJ Red-I and DJ Soulflower one of the top 10 best DJs in the Philippines, The couple can mix any kind of music and been dominating the Dubstep and Grime scene in Manila. They have been touring around Asia and putting their mark in the International scene so watch out they'll be heading to America, Europe and Japan soon.
Hello People out there in the internet world!! Finally I'm at the Beach but damn its the most expensive island in Thailand "Koh Samui" the prices of everything here is Bombaklat!! Its cool though because gonna be here for my good friend's Wedding which quite excites me, But this morning one of our friends was drunk and woke me up just to pass a joint which is quite annoying but its cool though its good to be around good friends.
But still this Island is Babylon!! So I just need to put on Jacob Miller's songs and one of my favorite album is Tenement yard which is I'm sharing to you all.... Will give you some history of Jacob Miller later when I get back to BKK...
Hey there everyone!! Sorry haven't updated my blog for awhile just moved to a new place and been unpacking my stuff. Its quite hard because I got so much stuff and got no aircon in my room yet the heat is just unbearable but its cool, A friend of mine came by to chill and right now his on the phone arguing with his girlfriend because of a picture that I took from our friend's engagement party yesterday and I think she got jealous of one our friends in the photo with him. Haven't been updating my blog for a couple of days now had some people here to entertain from Philippines. I'm sitting at Siam Sqaure in Bangkok while this girl beside me is checking and looking at my monitor screen what I'm writing on my blog LOL!! Anyway here are The Uniques one of my favorite rocksteady groups, here is a small history
Founded by Slim Smith, Roy Shriley and Franklin White, The vocal trio releasing a few singles in 1966. The group then disbanded, until late 1967 when Smith formed a new version of the group with Jimmy Riley and Lloyd Charmers. The new line-up debuted with "Watch This Sound", a cover version of Stephen Stills' "For What It's Worth", which was a hit along with a string of subsequent singles, many produced by Bunny Lee,Rupie Edwards, who used the rhythm to create the first one-rhythm album, Yamaha Skank. The group's debut album release, Absolutely The Uniques was released by Trojan Records in 1969, although they broke up in the same year.
Bunny Lee issued a showcase album in the 1970s, and the group name was briefly revived by Riley and Cornell Campbell in 1977 for the album Give Thanks, and again in 1997 with Al Campbell joining Cornell and Riley on the album The Uniques.
I love Music and Taking Photos. I'm a part time photographer and DJ. Still an Amateur with Photography but as they say the only time you become a pro is when you have alot of equipment.
